The Allied Shinobi Forces battle!
The Fourth Great Ninja War has been a battle of mass proportions, instigated by the masked figure posing as Madara Uchiha, only to reveal himself as Obito Uchiha… who was thought dead. His goal is the Infinite Tsukuyomi, his Sharingan cast onto the moon to control all the inhabitants of the earth through genjutsu.

The forty minutes of unseen footage relates to the key antagonists of Naruto Shippuden. The first reveals the formation of the Akatsuki and the recruitment of its members moving from the death of Hanzo of the Salamander, by the original members Nagato and Konan.

Obito, under the pseudonym of Tobi, establishes the Akatsuki with Nagato, now using Yahiko and other bodies as an entity known as Pain. From here on out Puppet Master Sasori of the Red Sand, Deidara, immortals Kakazu and Hidan, Itachi Uchiha, Demon of the Mist Kisame, Orochimaru and Zetsu are recruited into the Akatsuki. The next footage focuses on Itachi and his comrade Shisui as they face the incoming coup that the Uchiha have planned against the Hidden Leaf Village and how Itachi became the man to kill his entire village save for his younger brother Sasuke.

The final footage focuses on the time before the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze’s mission with his squad consisting of the young Obito, Kakashi and Rin. The bond between Minato’s wife and mother of Naruto Uzumaki, Kushina Uzumaki, and Obito is shown revealing the resemblance between Obito’s dream and the coming Naruto’s dream before Obito’s supposed death.

Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is very similar to previous Ninja Storm games. However, unlike the previous game, Revolution focuses on the Allied Shinobi Forces and the unity between the Five Great Nations: the Leaf, Lightning Mist, Sand and Rock.

The World Ninja Tournament becomes the “story” based game mode, with the ninja world brought together for an epic tournament consisting of very ninja nation. A wide roster of characters can then be unlocked with the progress made through the various levels of difficulty. Over a 100 characters will be playable including different versions of them such as Naruto, his Sage Form and a new Mecha Naruto with his own storyline part of the World Ninja Tournament.

A series of collectible items are available to find, win and unlock within the World Ninja Tournament, either through successful completion of battles, fights against online player Avatars scattered around the region or by trying luck at the lottery machine. These items work as Ninja tools to aid in battle, from chakra and life recovery items to kunai bags and explosive tags and more. Some are customization items to place on your character from ANBU masks to swords and weapons displayed merely for aesthetics and remain unusable.
Fights are as intense as before, requiring a combination of button mashing and “cancel” actions to build combos and complete with a variety of finishers both in the air and on the ground. A new fighting feature appears in the form of “rails” that characters can slide around and use to unleash attacks on opponents but these appear randomly and only in certain fights. There is also the battle format that requires fighters to bout it out in a four fighter match with the goal being to collect the most Battle Orbs by knocking down opponents.

As a Naruto fan, this game is worth getting and gives the feel of both the anime and the feeling of fighting as one of the anime ninja.
